Purpose:

Students at Warner Middle School that join the Esports team can compete with other teams in the area. The program seeks to give youth the opportunity to participate and excel in Esports, and thus open opportunities for them in the Esports arena of competition.  Not only is Esports fun, but it is also a great way to develop focus, self-discipline, build self-esteem, improve hand-eye coordination, and much more. The focus of Esports at WMS is to develop the talents and skills needed to be successful in Esports by giving team members the right foundation in proper biomechanics, technique, practice habits, communication, and team skills which will also foster a safe learning environment. With this proper foundation, we hope that students will carry their passion for Esports into high school and beyond.
