App Development and Design

What is App Development and Design Club:  

Welcome to the beautiful world of App Development and Design. App Development and Design is where students learn how to create custom apps for phones, tablets, and PCs. We use software created by the staff and students of MIT University. The building is intuitive and programming is scratch-based programming where the students will have a completed app by the end of the first meeting. 

     The apps that the students create are fully functional apps that could be, with parent/guardian permission, can be placed on the Google Play store for free or for a fee. Yes! This club could be the start of your student's software empire. 

   Meeting Days: Spring - Fridays

Goals of the Club:

• Have the students understand the basic concepts of coding (block coding)
• Have the students create working Android/IOS apps that can be shared with family and friends
• Have the students create their own custom apps that they could place in the Google Play Store or App Store (with parent/guardian permission)
