Art

Art  is a year long elective designed to introduce students to the basic elements and principles of art. The students will experiment with many of the following two dimensional media and techniques: paint (watercolor, tempera, and acrylic), oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, pen and ink, linoleum printing, silk screening, cartooning, and calligraphy. They may also create three dimensional projects using some of the following materials: clay, paper, wood, leather, glass, enamel, plastic, and metal.
