Art

     Art is a year-long elective designed to introduce students to the basic elements and principles of art. The students will experiment with many of the following two-dimensional media and techniques: paint (watercolor, tempera, and acrylic), oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, pen and ink, linoleum printing, silk screening, cartooning, and calligraphy. They may also create three-dimensional projects using some of the following materials: clay, paper, wood, leather, glass, enamel, plastic, and metal.
